Great Golf Day was founded in 1999 by
four close friends: Jim Sullivan, Mark O'Brien, Jason
Radzevich and John Hurley. The event originally served
as a reason to bring all four friends together along
with their families and
close friends formally for a "great golf day"
every year. As the preliminary stages of planning
began, the coordinators decided to use this opportunity
to raise money for diabetes which has affected each
of their families in one way or another. It was decided
that all proceeds from Great Golf Day would be donated
to The Barton Center which is a camp for diabetics
in memory of Shannon Hurley where she was both a camper
and a counselor.
To date, Great Golf Day has raised over $35,000 for
The Barton Center and are proud to be part of the
Barton family. Jim, Mark, Jason and John look forward
to this year's 10th Annual at Easton Country Club.
Please come and join us for a "great golf day"
and a reason to raise money for a "great"
cause!
Great Golf Day includes 18 holes of golf, a cart, dinner
and a comedy performance. Sign
